Absolutely true. But persecution of the Jews is no more a part of supercessionism than it is of dispensationalism.

As regards the history of Jewish persecution in the Middle Ages, let's not pretend that was theological. It was wholly political and economic. Thus, Mr. Ice is disingenuous to blame a Christian theology for those atrocities.

When I read the piece, I did not see him blaming replacement theology for antisemitism. What I heard him say was that the excising of any biblical role for Israel removed a theological impediment that any political or social antisemite might find blocking his ideas.

Read through this and see if this is not what was written.

It does make sense.
