One of the reasons that "Amazing Grace" will not be sung at anything Catholic that I have anything to do with. Read the words -- they support that we are saved by grace ALONE. Not ture with Catholic teaching.It's your loss.

It's your loss. It's also not correct Catholic theology. There's nothing wrong with being saved by grace alone; it's the only way anyone is saved.

We Catholics can defend through scripture our doctrine that works provide means of deepening and finding grace...and I can defend it using any mainstream non-Catholic Bible you choose.
