This a grossly inaccurate assertion: "Although emergency contraceptive drugs such as Plan B contain the same hormones that compose standard oral contraceptives, emergency contraceptives contain a much higher dosage than oral contraceptives." Typical OC's contain an estriadiol molecule and a prostaglandin molecule. Plan B contians ONLY the prostaglandin. The protaglandin causes a build up in the uterine lining via the hormonal feedbakc mechanism, artificially stimulating the pituitary system.
