the seven dioceses have frozen the ground on which they sit. The Presiding Bishop cannot declare the sees vacant nor can the loyal Episcopalians meet to elect new representatives.I am a bit surprised that 'they' are willing to make this admission against interest.
I suspect we will see a bit of backtracking on this.
