I like most of the Persians I have met here and they are certianly a diverse lot: non-practicing Muslim, semi-practicing (self-identified) Muslim, practicing Muslim, B'ahai, Christian (various kinds), and one possible case of agnostic -- a lying but lovable rogue. I know there are Jewish Iranians (you know the old tie there!) but I don't think I know any.

There've been a few I've known with whom I'd be cautious, but my experience is that by and large, they are good and honorable people (and sharp traders too).

I only wish more FReepers knew Iranians personally.
