That's the problem with anti-Catholic rhetoric. This forum is not the place to obtain a real education in Catholic theology. That takes years of serious study, which I have done for over 35 years. I will not entertain trying to be a Catholic apologist in this forum. I will say I have read the book referenced in this post and I can supply valid supporting documents and historical data. That said, it is not intended to be a comprehensive apologetic work. It was written to get the juices of question going thereby encouraging its readers to do honest study of their own churches and the Cathoic faith. I hope this doesn't sound snotty; not meant that way.
I do not think you sounded snotty. My only point is I would prefer to call it Protestant rhetoric though, rather than Anti-Catholic, which is inherently Anti-Catholic, but with a bit broader than just a "Catholics-are-wrong" belief.
And as such, James White's rhetoric must be actually called Reformed Baptist, as there are many in the Protestant, as well as Southern Baptist Convention, circles that would also like to hang him by his heels and make him watch Jimmy Swaggart cry until he repents of his Calvinistic ways.
