URGENT PRAYER NEEDED FOR
RABBI BARUCH BIERMAN
Shalom dearly beloved:
This is a quick email just to recruit all those who love us to pray for Rabbi Baruch Bierman. Who is at present in the ICCU (Intensive Cardio Care Unit) of the Hadassa hospital in Jerusalem after a heart attack yesterday. Please agree with us that the doctor tomorrow as he will be operated on will be Yshua Himself. Agree with us that He will come through and fulfill ALL of His life call to be a General in YAHs Army!
We agree with Psalms 103:1-3 and say
Bless Yahveh o my soul and forget not all His benefits, He who forgives all of Rabbi Baruchs iniquities and heals all of His diseases. He crowns Him with loving kindness and tender mercies and satisfies Rabbi Baruchs mouth with good things so that his youth is renewed and restored like the eagles

PRAYING FOR ONE JEW
Shabbat shalom our dear praying friends!
During these last few days Rabbi and I have felt the love of His Body around the world and in Israel like never before! So many people have responded via email and/or phone. So many prayers, so much love, Scripture verses and prophetic words have come forth. We have no words that are sufficient to express our thanksgiving and appreciation for the friendship and love of so many. Thousands are praying for only ONE JEW that is called as an Apostle from Jerusalem to the nations and an evangelist to his own people and to the Arabs and of course the husband of this Jewish woman Bishop and the father of many!
This kind of aggressive prayer is what is needed for us Jews. We need your urgent, insistent, faithful and faith filled prayers. The whole Body of Yeshua in Israel needs it. THE WHOLE OF ISRAEL NEEDS IT. I believe that we are heart sick in this country. We need HELP, not from the secular governments that have already abandoned us but from God's people all over the world. We need the strength that your love, prayers and prophetic declarations bring in order to make it to target. Israel is under heavy attack because Israel is the fulfillment of YAH's Covenant! Rabbi Baruch is the fulfillment of His Covenant as established throughout numerous scriptures and especially Ezekiel 36.
And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am Yahveh,' says Yahveh GOD, 'when I am hallowed in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. Ezekiel 36:23-28
Of course Israel needs deep cleansing and yet this does not negate YAH's absolute commitment to KEEP HIS COVENANT!
One highlight in the Israeli newspapers read as follows:
'Germany said: Israel will never have to face the threat of Iran alone.'
I prophesied many years ago that it will be surprising to see how Germany becomes the best friend of Israel in the End Times! That is a Hanukkah miracle because nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible with YAHVEH!
An ancient Jewish saying is: 'He that has rescued ONE JEW is as if he has rescued the ENTIRE WORLD'. Thank you for praying for Rabbi Baruch and for me as we are called to fulfill our Jewish Calling to be a 'Light unto the nations' and reach the world for His Glory.
LATEST UPDATE
As I am writing these words Rabbi Baruch has had an amazing recovery. It is definitely a Hanukkah Miracle! His chest pains stopped altogether and he has regained strength rapidly. He is feeling so well that they are talking about maybe releasing him for Shabbat to come home before he goes to a recovery home for a few days. May YAH bless all of you that have been faithfully praying for His Servant to finish his course on earth!
In the picture he is rejoicing and reading all of your emails, encouragements and prophetic words. Praise to YAH!!! Thank you for keeping on praying for full restoration of LIFE!!!
A SHABBAT YEAR
In May this year we received a prophetic word about the importance of taking a Shabbat Year in order to be restored in our bodies. Of course we knew nothing about this coming heart attack, but YAH knew so He warned us. Of course in 2007 Rabbi will do very little ministry traveling with me if at all and we understand the importance of stopping and recovering. We will however invite you to join our tours and trainings in the Land, to receive our Shabbat Letters and to watch all our broadcasts through MAP Revolution TV.
www.kad-esh.org
I am certain that this year will be life changing for us, for Israel and for the nations as we regroup.
May this Hanukkah be filled with the miraculous intervention of Elohim in Israel and in all of our lives as we aggressively rededicate our Mishkan ( Temple ), home, family, city and nation for His Glory!
For Zion's sake, I will not keep silent. Isaiah 62:1

Consecration, Light and Miracles
Hanukkah Edition #2
Shabbat Shalom and a blessed Hanukkah dearly beloved!
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of Yahveh is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But Yahveh will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. Isaiah 60:1-3
Hanukkah is also called the Feast of Dedication and the Feast of Lights and Miracles. The whole story of Hanukah is connected with the desire of the People of the Covenant (The Jewish People) to pay any price in order to live a consecrated life with the Presence of Yahveh in the CENTER. When we look closely into this historical event called Hanukkah we will see that the main actors are a priestly family called the Maccabees that refused to bow down to pagan worship even under death threats! At that time Greece was ruling Israel and they had the power to execute anyone that would not bow down to their gods.
However Mathityahu and his sons led by Yehudah decided to take the risk of perishing rather than betraying The God of Israel and His Commandments! They were only a few against an entire armed and mean army! However they did not keep this a personal issue but decided to carry the battle to the extent of fighting courageously and dangerously for the redemption of the entire Nation of Israel. The rest of the story is recounted extensively in the books of the Apocrypha and it talks of a terrible fight between the Jewish Maccabees and the Greeks. The Maccabees won and they took over the Temple from the hands of the pagans and proceeded to consecrate it, cleanse it and purify it from all vestiges of unholiness and pagan worship.
After cleansing it, they lit up the Menorah, the sign of YAHS Presence and Revelation the symbol of His Word and the fullness of His illuminating spirit (Seven fold Spirit-Seven branch Menorah)
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. Psalms 119:105
However they needed a miracle, they needed more oil in order to keep the Menorah lit. However not any oil would do but only consecrated oil. It took seven days to consecrate Holy Oil and so they had a dilemma. Should we proceed with only ONE little vessel (Kad Katan) of oil or should we wait until more oil is consecrated? They proceeded by faith and YAH followed their trust and zeal for His Word with a miracle of MULTIPLICATION. The little vessel of Holy Oil lasted for 8 days until enough oil was consecrated!
No doubt many know this beautiful Hanukkah story and of course the excitement is always about the Miracle but we need to understand that this miracle was not a random miracle! It was the answer of YAHVEH to a few important factors. I believe that He is always willing to answer with His miracles when these factors are present:
1. Being willing to lose your life for the Truth of His Word and Kingdom.
2. Being willing to fight the Goliaths though you are small and seemingly insignificant.
3. Fight until you die or you achieve your goal, never quit!!!
4. After you achieve the desired victory CONSECRATE yourself again, let the Light of His Word dwell in you richly and shine. Then watch Him back you up with His Miracles!
Consecration is always connected with cleansing and purification. Just like the Mishkan ( Temple ) needed to be purified from pagan influence, so do we who are The Mishkan of His Ruach (Spirit). Consecration through repentance from all that defiles us needs to lead to the infilling of the Light of His Word and Spirit and then watch Him do the Miracles needed for you to complete the task of glorifying His dwelling place!
VERY IMPORTANT:
Fight for His cause not for yours. The Maccabees wanted to rededicate the Mishkan ( Temple ) for the Glory of YAH (God) and not because of selfish ambition for fame or for the desire to build a ministry for themselves. Too many people are pursuing their own agenda but who is interested in vindicating the Holiness and the Glory of God?
In these End Times things are shifting and we will begin to see a marked difference between those that live for His Glory and those that do not. The distinguishing marks will be upon the Consecrated and Illuminate ones and you will see Miracles following them wherever they go! YAH wants His Mishkan back from all pagan influence and iniquity; He desires a Bride Pure and Holy! The Battle is raging in Israel and for Israel s Redemption. Will you stop your own agenda and join the Battle for His Glory? Will you join His End time Messianic Apostolic Prophetic Team? We, like the Maccabees are only a few compared with the millions in organized religion but the zeal of YAHVEH consumes us for the restoration of His House and of Holy Worship.
and Yahveh said to him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem , and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it. To the others He said in my hearing, Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. Ezekiel 9:4-5
As we end this Hanukkah and prepare to end this Gregorian calendar year, let us pursue after His Presence and His holiness and pure Word like never before in our lives. The Miracles is only the outcome of the Consecration and the Light of His Word in us. Miracles should be the norm for consecrated believers that are full of His Holy Fire and Word. And remember that the fight can be fierce, dangerous and risky
But if we perish, we perish.
For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Hebrews 12:10 Pursue peace without holiness no
I yearn to see Him, not only in Heaven but right here on earth! And I yearn to see Him in His Mishkan- in You and me!
Happy end of Hanukkah and New Beginnings!

Observation and Silence
On a beautiful cool morning last July, Lars and I left behind all our usual work and chugged out of Gloucester harbor in Massachusetts on a fifty-foot fishing boat. There were about twenty of us aboard, all of us in high spirits .... in anticipation of what we were about to see. It was not the cormorants that flocked on the tiny island at the mouth of the harbor, or the reef of Norman's Woe where the Hesperus was wrecked, or the lighthouse on Eastern Point.
We noted all of these things with interest (the oldest paint factory in the country did not rouse us much), but none of them were what we had paid our fifteen dollars apiece to see. Lars had called the week before to inquire about the advertisement. Did they guarantee anything? No, that was impossible, but in the twenty trips made so far that summer they had seen them every time. We decided it was well worth risking the price of tickets if there was even an outside chance of seeing them: whales. Not captive in Marineland, not doing tricks in the zoo, but real live full-sized unbelievable wild whales out in the open Atlantic Ocean, free-swimming, God-glorifying giants of the deep.
Our on-board whale authority turned out to be a man of about twenty wearing a T-shirt and cutoffs, with a baseball cap clamped over his long hair. He stood up in front of us with a chart and proceeded to show us pictures of "the whales we'll be seeing."
Well, I thought, he sounds wonderfully confident. Will we be so fortunate as to see even one spout in the distance? Sometime after half-past nine, he assured us, we might begin to spot them. We would understand the lookout's directions if we imagined the boat as the face of a clock, its bow representing twelve o'clock, its stern six. He then explained that the whales most likely to be in the area were the humpback and the finback, each having a characteristic "blow." Whales, being mammals, breathe air. They surface every few minutes, exhale a great column of vapor (the finback's is twenty feet tall, straight up into the air), inhale in a split second, and then dive.
They do their mating in the area of the Dominican Republic in the wintertime but eat little then. In the summertime they come north and do most of their eating off the coast of Massachusetts, occasionally going as far north as Newfoundland, depending on where the food animals are swarming. Instead of teeth these two species of whale have what is called baleen, a double series of triangular horny plates on each side of the palate (as many as six hundred all together) which fray out into a sort of hairy fringe to form a sieve which filters out of the ocean's soup all the nourishing tidbits such as plankton, krills, copepods, herring, sardines, and copelin.
The most remarkable of the tidbits is a creature called a diatom. These microscopic machines behave in some ways like animals (they swim and dig) and in other ways like plants. Scientists cannot agree on how to classify them, but whales love them and they provide more food than any other living thing, nourishing not only whales but a variety of infinitely smaller creatures like krills (I confess I had never once wondered what krills ate). Diatoms come in several thousand species, in marvelous shapes (pinwheels, spirals, stars, triangles, chandeliers, discs, rods, ovals), and the largest of them measures a mere millimeter. A humpback whale consumes rather large helpings of diatoms, netting several hundred billion every few hours, taking in several tons of water with each gulp and straining these vast torrents through his baleen, as much as a million cubic meters of seawater a day.
Among our fellow passengers was a very large lady wearing a knit tank top and slacks which she filled to bursting. She had a shopping bag on what there was of a lap. We had not left our moorings before she had reached into the bag and switched on a radio, then began foraging for something to eat. Most of her crackers and bananas were gone, she had downed a Pepsi or two and inquired in vain if there was food to be bought, by the time the lookout cried, "Blow at eleven o'clock!'' We rushed to the bow in time to see a distant geyser. The captain made for the spot, and soon we saw the huge glistening back and dorsal fin of a humpback roll to the surface and heard the surprisingly powerful phooh from the blowhole before it vanished.
Within a short time we had sighted other spouts, other fins, and then, to our great excitement, the monstrous tail or fluke splendidly flashed clear of the water so that we could see its markings and the clinging barnacles.
"There's your fluke, now," the captain's assistant remarked laconically.
Our knowledgeable young man had described something he called a "bubble net" which he hoped we might see. A whale goes down about thirty feet, blows a twelve-foot circle of bubbles so that the surface of the sea turns effervescent turquoise. No one is quite sure why or how this works, but it seems to have the effect of confusing the small fish and other creatures so that they are "caught" in this net. About ten seconds elapse (the gulls have time to flock to the scene screaming, the eager watchers also scream and focus their eyes and cameras). Then, suddenly and awesomely, the whale's cavernous mouth explodes from below and swallows the "net" (and sometimes, the man said, an unwary seagull or two). We had seen perhaps three or four whales surface, blow, and disappear some dozens of times before the lookout shouted "Bubble at seven o'clock!" We raced to the stern, found a great green pool not many feet away, and held our breath as the enormous square warted snout of the humpback shot out of the water, the entire pool poured through the billowing mesh of baleen, and before we could blink in disbelief, the ocean was as faceless and empty as ever. I don't think anyone said a word unless it was "Wow. " There would have been complete silence if it hadn't been for the sound of the radio in the shopping bag.
The lookout called our attention some minutes later to what seemed to be a patch of dim, pale-green light moving smoothly alongside the boat, perhaps four or five feet beneath the surface. It was the gray sidepatch of the finwhale. If he had not pointed it out, our uneducated eyes would never have noticed it, for there was not the smallest ripple, there was not the least sign to indicate that a fifty-foot giant weighing some sixty tons was accompanying us.
The fat lady, I think, missed it. She was eating another banana. Not long after we had made this trip I received another of those letters from an aspiring writer. A young woman wrote, "I often yearn to be a writer but after reading books like yours, I feel that all the important things have already been said!''
They have indeed been said, and long before I said them. If a thing is true it is not new, but the truth needs to be said again and again, freshly for each generation. I have often been introduced to some seventeenth-or eighteenth-century writer by a nineteenth-century writer. If I quote what I learn from the ancients, a twentieth-century reader is sometimes helped when he would not by himself have found Crashaw's poem or St. Francis' prayer or St. Paul's Love chapter.
What of the twenty-first century? Which of the young people I know are now laying the groundwork for being the writers or artists or, as I like to think of any who show truth in any form, the prophets for my grandchildren's grandchildren?
I wrote to the young woman:
Don't give up that yearning. During these busy years while you take care of small children and give yourself to being a godly wife and mother, lay the firm footing on which good writing must be built. Read great books if you have time to read anything at all. Get rid of the junk that comes in the mail, eschew all magazines and newspapers if your reading time is limited, and by "hearing" the really great authors, learn the sound and cadence of good English.
There are two other things required of "prophets." Observation ("What do you see?" Ezekiel and John were asked) and silence. ("The word of the Lord came to me.") Obviously we (I, at least, and most others, I suppose) are not anything like the biblical prophets. Ours is a different assignment. But we are charged with the responsibility of telling the truth, and I don't see how this can possibly be done without opening our eyes to see and our ears to hear. There must, there simply must, be time and space allowed for silence and for solitude if what we see and hear is to be "processed."
Antoine de Saint-Exupery, author of Wind, Sand, and Stars, said in a conversation with Anne Morrow Lindbergh, "The great of the earth are those who leave silence and solitude around themselves, their work and their life, and let it ripen of its own accord."
If any of the crowd we saw fishing from a breakwater as our boat entered Gloucester harbor again are among the "great of the earth," it will be against terrible odds. They, like the lady on board, were also listening to a shrieking radio.
ln the cry of gulls, in the blow of a whale, in the very stillness of an early morning, it seems to me, we are more likely to hear the Lord's quiet word.
Speak, Lord, in the stillness,
While I wait on Thee.
Hushed my heart to listen
In expectancy.

Thinking
Question-and-answer is a vanishing art. We are so drowned and smothered and deafened by panels, dialogues, rap sessions, discussions, talk shows, and other such exercises in the pooling of ignorance that, far from developing the art of asking questions and giving answers, we have very nearly lost it altogether.
The time allotted for a program must, it seems, be filled--it doesn't much matter with what. When is the last time you heard a clear, short question asked and a straight answer given? My heart sinks when it is announced that, following the lecture, there will be time for discussion. People put up their hands, but it turns out that it is not information they are after at all. They want the floor. They go on and on.
I was one of the panel of experts (i.e., married women) discussing the subject of marriage in a college women's dormitory a few years ago. Afterward there were lots of questions. But it was hard to figure out just what the questions were. Here is one of them (verbatim--I did not make this up. It was taped and then transcribed):
Um--like--um--I have a couple questions. Do you think--like--that--uh--do you think a woman could have a call just to be--like--a wife, but not--like--not just to be a wife--like, say, you know--if you're gonna be personal--like--my own engagement--like--I have a gift of--you know--a talent in music, you know--like--I mean, I know you're not saying--like--you know, especially in that case, I mean, you're saying more like--you have--like ....
(I apologize for not knowing the rules of punctuation for this kind of English.) Nobody on the panel knew what the girl was asking. She was confused--that came through loud and clear, but she might have seen through some of the fog simply by making the effort to clarify and shorten her question.
Sometimes I have been tempted to tell the audience that only questions of twenty-five words or less will be entertained. But I don't want to put people off any more than I can help.
William Strunk, Jr., in his wonderful little book, The Elements of Style, gives this advice:
To air one's views at an improper time may be in bad taste. If you have received a letter inviting you to speak at the dedication of a new cat hospital, and you hate cats, your reply, declining the invitation, does not necessarily have to cover the full range of your emotions. You must make it clear that you will not attend, but you do not have to let fly at cats... Bear in mind that your opinion of cats was not sought, only your services as a speaker. Try to keep things straight.
Americans dearly love to be polled for opinion. They feel that they ought to have opinions, to "hold views," on everything, and polls give them a chance to let fly. It is interesting to note how small a percentage of those polled admit to having "No opinion."
If the answer is Yes, say Yes. If it's No, say No. (The Bible will back me up here.) If it's I don't know, say that--if you possibly can. My daughter had a classmate in the seventh grade who, when asked a question by the teacher, never raised his chin off his hand, but looking into space said glumly, "I don't know." To a second question he replied, in the same laconic tone, "I don't know that either." I couldn't help wanting to know which boy that was. I liked him. It was discouraging for the teacher, I'm sure, that he didn't know, but it was not nearly so discouraging to hear him say so in three words as it would have been to hear three hundred words which came to the same thing. Every day in the mass media we have to listen to palaver, twaddle, and balderdash which, when interpreted, means "I don't know."
Some people are constitutionally incapable of admitting they don't know. "Well, let's just say I don't know the answer to that one," a woman once said to me.
Great people, however, can often disarm us completely with a candid acknowledgment such as Samuel Johnson's when asked by an indignant woman whatever made him define pastern as he did in his lexicon. "Ignorance, madam, pure ignorance!"
The Quechua Indians of Ecuador have a way of dropping the corners of their mouths, thrusting out their chins, and gazing off across the treetops, saying "Hmm hmm?" which is supposed to convey the impression that the matter is a mysterious one which they are in on but which would really be beyond you. At other times they come up with ineluctable answers like the one a missionary got when he wanted to know the name of a tree with yellow flowers on it. The Indian studied the tree for a little while, shading his eyes with his hand, and then said earnestly, "Well, I'll tell you, Senor Eduardo. That tree over there, the one you point to, the tree with the yellow flowers on it--that tree, Senor Eduardo...we call The Yellow Flower Tree."
The late W. H. Auden once appeared on a television interview and it was delicious to see his interviewers thrown completely off balance by the clarity and the brevity of his answers. They had their questions carefully worked out and the timing approximated, but long before the show was over they were casting about for new questions. When they asked if he thought of poetry as a means of self-expression, he said, "No, not at all. You write a poem because you have seen something which seems worth sharing with others." The ideal reaction from the reader is, 'I knew that all along, but I never realized it.' He could, I am sure, have lectured for an hour on that one subject, but he didn't. He had a sense of occasion.
"You will be living in Oxford, England, Mr. Auden. Do you expect to be teaching there?"
"No."
"You won't be teaching. (Pause.) Well, Mr. Auden, as you move into the more--shall we say--mellow years, would you say that you have any unfulfilled ambitions?"
"No."
One of my unfulfilled ambitions was to hear a simple answer on a TV talk show. Thank you, Mr. Auden.
I love that! Thank you so much for sharing that with me!

Shabbat Year 2007 Series
HE MAKES ME TO LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES
He makes me to lie down in green pastures Psalms 23:2
Shabbat shalom and Shnat Shabbaton dearly beloved:
This week we shall continue studying Psalms 23 for this Shabbat Year of 2007.
When I read the above scripture, (and especially in Hebrew,) it becomes very obvious to me that unless He makes us to lie down long enough in order to get our attention; the 21st Century hyperactivity will get the best out of us and we will have no time for Him. But let me explain this verse to you:
He makes me to lie down in green pastures:
Al neot deshe yarbitseni.
I will actually begin the way the Hebrew sentence begins. It begins with the GREEN PASTURES and later on we will see why it begins this way. He first gives us the vision and the purpose for His insistence that we lie down. He desires us to rest and be restored. There is no way that we can be restored, or that we can rest in a field of thorns, or in the midst of gravel. He must get us to a place of GREEN PASTURES for our own good and for the sake of His Kingdom.
Sheep eat green grass in order to grow healthy and grow lots of wool. As we said in the previous letter, the sheeps wool is the reward of the shepherd for his hard work. In the green pastures both the food and the rest will be plentiful. Though this sounds wonderful most sheep do not lie down on their own. They have to be forced into the resting. They have to be humbled unto that place! What does green pastures mean to us Yshuas disciples? Most of us do not eat grass!
The word of YAH says: For man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of YAH (God)
. In other words though we need physical food to survive, we need His Word even more! Abba brings us to a place where we can feed on His luscious Word, on His Torah instructions, and on His promises, so we can be made whole and we can bear fruit!
Most people are content with some crumbs from His Word and many times they are actually quite happy eating spiritual gravel and straw. However they fail to bring the reward to the Shepherd, they fail to grow the wool that is needed by the Shepherd. Their spiritual food has been deficient! For the most part, His Body has been eating quite a lot of gravel and straw when it is divorced from the original Gospel made in Zion and the Jewish Roots of the Faith. So, this year He wants you to both REST and FEAST on GREEN PASTURES. He will not accept His sheep to eat any more gravel! It is time to bear fruit for the Master! Sheep are not created for themselves they are created for the Shepherd. It is time for His sheep to hear the Call to lie down in green pastures!
There is no better place to get the riches of His Word and to learn His ways than Jerusalem . Jerusalem is the GREEN PASTURES where Yahveh wants His sheep to come to this year. He wants them to rest and to be restored through eating green grass and refusing the gravel of Replacement Theology and the shallow Western Christian Gospel. Great riches are awaiting His sheep in Zion this year!
And in that day you will say: O Yahveh, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For YAH, Yahveh, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation. Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:1-3
He makes me to lie down in green pastures:
Al neot deshe yarbitseni
This portion of this scripture is amazingly revealing! He makes me to lie down means that He does something FORCEFUL to bring me down, even against my own will. In Hebrew the word YARBITSENI means: He beats me up until I obey Him and I lie down to learn His Torah and His ways! Among the Orthodox Jews to teach Torah, (the laws and Commandments of the Creator,) to little children it is called LEHARBITS TORAH, which means to BEAT THE TORAH INTO YOU. When you see a shepherd making his sheep to lie down you will see him/her pushing the sheep down forcefully and or beating them with a stick until they LIE DOWN!
If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:7-11
If you feel beat up and some strange things are happening to stop your plans and agendas; it is probably the Shepherd calling you to lie down in order to learn His ways. Of course lie down means to humble yourself, stop what you are doing and listen to Him. Give Him your time. No more business as usual this year!
2007 is a Year of Shabbat, a year of REPENTANCE, REST and RESTORATION. He is calling all of His Bride to be restored to the original Jewish Roots of the Faith. Are you listening? He is also calling us to be trained in His ways and character as we rest.
In order to provide you our beloved partners with the best of GREEN PASTURES we have designed by the help of The Holy Spirit some tours and trainings in His Land, in His Garden, His Green Pastures in Jerusalem, in Israel!
In His word it is written that from Shabbat to Shabbat all mankind shall come and worship Yahveh in Jerusalem (Isaiah 66:23). This is a SHABBAT YEAR and He is calling all those that have ears to hear to COME UP and worship Him in Jerusalem in order to lie down in green pastures and feed on His Torah and Ruach (Spirit) in Zion . Those that will join the coming MAP Revolution tours and trainings in His Land this year will be made HOLY, and WHOLE, and will grow the fruit it takes for the End Time Move of YAH. They will be able to be used of Him and even lead in His End Time Army!
As one whom his mother comforts, So I will comfort you; And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem . Isaiah 66:13
We are waiting for you in His GREEN PASTURES IN ZION . Can you hear the Voice of the Shepherd?

The Day's Doings
Odd things turn up when you are moving. Last month when we packed up the things in the old house and came to this one, I found a slip of paper with my mother's handwriting on one side and Mrs. Kershaw's on the other. One day back in the fifties my parents were going for the day to Hartford, Connecticut (from New Jersey), to visit my aunt in the hospital. Mother wrote a note to leave for Mrs. Kershaw, the dear old lady who would be coming that day as usual to help with housework.
"Please get anything you want from the refrigerator to eat. If you have time perhaps you could roll out some brown sugar cookies. The house is clean so there is nothing to do in that line.... Thanks so much. Have a good day. Lovingly, K. H."
Mrs. Kershaw wrote on the other side, "The Day's Doings," and left it for my mother. Mother is pretty good at throwing things away (lots of people are poor at that), but she also knows what is worth saving. When I read over the scrap of paper I thought of our beloved Mrs. Kershaw. I have written about her before--a widow, stone-deaf, a godsend to our home, utterly without guile or self-pity, unfailingly cheerful, who quite as a matter of course gave herself to all of us all of the time. Her list seemed exactly the paradigm I had been looking for. I wanted to write about peace. Peace is one of those abstracts we refer to rather often, but seldom with much real comprehension. "The Day's Doings" helped me to get hold of what peace is.
The Day's Doings:
1. put my soiled clothes to soak
2. had my breakfast
3. washed clothes
4. prayed for all and Alice's recovery & home safe
5. washed up dishes
6. made a fruit cup good for all
7. wrote to (her son)
8. just opened my mail, came 10:30 A.M.
9. making cookies, rolling in paper
10. getting nuts ready for top of cookies
11. resting and prayer for all
12. fixing pie filling and crust
13. resting and lunch 2 P.M. I feel lost without you to eat with.
14. washing up
15. resting and reading
16. prayer
17. making Jell-O
18. washing up. No more eats.
19. baking cookies and pie
20. washing up kitchen floor last. 6 o'clock, not a soul here. I didn't even see a stray dog. Yet happy.
* * *
Here was a life without conflict. That is what peace is. It could be argued, of course, that she had it easy: a few little undemanding household tasks to perform, a nice house in which to perform them, people who cared about her, her basic needs met. Plenty of people in this world have that and more, but would give it all for five minutes of peace--the peace that characterized the life of our little old lady.
If she had wanted to look for causes for self-pity or depression, she wouldn't have had to go far. She was old and frail, slightly crippled with arthritis; she could not hear a single sound; she had a son who almost never called or visited her; she had lost her husband; she had very few of this world's goods. But she went through her daily routines with gladness, punctuating them with prayer. She had the peace of God, which is just as Jesus described it--"nothing like the peace of this world." It was his parting gift to the disciples and to any who will simply take it. "I give you my own peace" is what he said.
I was thinking of all this as I sat in the living room of the house we have just moved into. My books and notes were spread around me on the sofa, my clipboard was in my lap. In front of me was a vast expanse of Atlantic Ocean, framed to left and right by the fading colors of autumn woods and, at the foot of the slope between them, the raw and ragged edge of New England--a great jumble of giant rocks, bleached by the sun, clean-scoured by wind and tide. The sea itself, miles and miles of it, danced, glittered, and flashed. (''Coruscated is the word," my brother Tom Howard said on the phone when I tried to describe to him what I could see. He's been my thesaurus since he was about five.)
There was nearly perfect silence all day long. I could hear no traffic on the road. Occasionally I heard a plane, circling northeast to land at Boston's Logan Airport, or the soft thub-thub of a lobster boat's idling motor. I heard the lonely cry of seagulls and the thunder and sigh as waves broke and retreated, but it was a day full of peace. I reveled in it. I thanked God in every way I could think of.
But someone I love is in the hospital today, waiting for a diagnosis which, judging by the symptoms we know of so far, could be a grave illness. The kind of peace afforded by the quiet house set in such matchless beauty is not really enough. It is not enough for my heart.
In the same talk in which Jesus spoke of his peace, just before he left his disciples to return to the Father, he said, ''You must not be distressed and you must not be daunted. " How, Lord, can I possibly obey a command like that when trouble--serious trouble--stares me in the face? What does peace mean now? Is it merely a feeling of calm? Does it mean to be soothed or comfortable? Is it a vague sense of well-being?
I don't know anywhere to look for answers but in the same old Book. The Old Testament sense of the word peace is, among other things, perpetual prosperity, security of tenure, health, and freedom from annoyance. The list almost seemed a mockery. It would certainly be a mockery if we could see no further than natural things. The man who sees only those has a "carnal" attitude, Paul says, "and that means, bluntly, death.'' A spiritual attitude, on the other hand, means life and inward peace. The New Testament explains much more about this inward kind. It comes from God. It is a gift, the fruit of faith. It passes understanding. It is Christ himself. "He is our peace."
The peace of God means the absence of conflict with the will of God. It means harmony within, concord with his purpose for our lives.
Mrs. Kershaw was not merely adjusted to herself or her circumstances. She was, in the deepest place of her being, reconciled to God. She never took a sedative or a tonic in her life. Like the weaned child spoken of by the psalmist, no longer frantic for satisfaction, she was at rest. If you had asked her her secret, she would no doubt have given a little shrug and a little chuckle. The sweet old wrinkled face would have looked up quizzically. She would not have known what to say. She simply did what the Christians of Philippi were told to do: "Don't worry over anything whatever; tell God every detail of your needs in earnest and thankful prayer, and the peace of God, which transcends human understanding, will keep constant guard over your hearts and minds as they rest in Christ Jesus."
To make peace with a country or a person or God requires a transaction. To have peace, as people sometimes say, unless it is merely the sense of well-being that commonly goes with getting what you want, must mean that a transaction has taken place. One's will, along with everything else, has been offered up. Peace is the divine answer to our Yes, Lord.
Colossians 3:15 suggests that the peace of Christ is the "arbiter" of our hearts, ruling out all faithless response to trouble, all distress, anxiety, fretfulness, frustration, and resentment. It establishes order. Those who accept the grace of this gift know tranquillity which can withstand all assaults, a stillness unbroken by the world's noise, and a repose in the midst of intense activity--repose which a nerve-racked world cannot possibly give. For only Christ himself, who slept in the boat in the storm and then spoke calm to the wind and waves, can stand beside us when we are in a panic and say to us Peace. It will not be explainable. It transcends human understanding. And there is nothing else like it in the whole wide world.

Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings and blessings.
God is leading me to share a monthly report of what I am hearing from Him for America. Each report will come as close to the middle of the month as possible, though I chose not to wait until then to release this one. God has taken the prayer movement to a more decentralized apostolic paradigm; this is allowing more ownership to be taken on local levels. This is as it should bethe purpose of my update will simply be to make you aware of national issues/developments/events, etc. that need our concerted prayer. The question I will address each month is simply, What is the Holy Spirit saying to the praying church of America? Ill usually limit each months update to three or four major issues.
Prayer Point 1: Baal
Through a season of tremendous warfare in November and December, as well as confirmation from many key leaders, God has exposed the spirit of Baal as one of the strongmenperhaps the strongmanover America.
Baal-hamon, one of Baals names, means the lord of wealth or abundance. Chuck Pierce believes, and I agree, that this is the principality warring against the great transfer of wealth to the church. You must war against this spirit to see your inheritance released. Claim Jeremiah 51:44 (Bel in this verse is Baal).
Baal-berith, another of his names, means the lord of the covenant. The Hebrew word baal actually means husband or marriage. This spirit always attempted to cause Israel to divorce or break covenant with God and marry or align with him. Consistent with this, in so many ways America has broken covenant with God and married Baal. This is, I believe, the strongman behind most covenant-breaking.
Baal is the strongman behind sexual perversion. Homosexuality was and is one of his big strongholds. I believe all of the sexual sin and perversion in America is, to one degree or another, under Baals orchestration. You will continue to see God expose leaders in the church who aligned themselves with this spirit. Pray for the church to be cleansed and for Baals hold on America in this area to be broken.
Baal always goes after the next generation, trying to cut off the extension of Gods covenantal purposes. He is a violent spirit and even required human sacrifice. Abortion is under Baal, as is the cutting of todays young generation (see 1 Kings 18:28), the vampire and goth movement, and the death culture in general that has so invaded America. Baal is leading the fight to avert the great awakening planned for the young generation of Americans today. Pray against and bind these efforts.
Witchcraft and occult spirits in general operate under Baal. So does Jezebel.
Pray against this spirits influence in your area as the Lord leads you. Be wise and discerning, and learn as much as you can about it before you take action. I have barely scratched the surface in this writing.
Also, for those wanting more information on this subject, I will be doing an in-depth six hour teaching on Baal and Jezebel at Destiny Bible School, located in Middletown, OH, on March 22-24. We will expose their activities and teach how to overthrow them. This will be one of the most important teachings I have ever done. Come and learn how to break this spirits influence in your personal life and region. The class is only $65.00, including the syllabus; go to www.destinybibleschool.com for more information.
Prayer Point 2: The Coming Youth Revival
I prophesied in January 2006 that the lid was coming off of the youth movement (teens and 20s) that year. It happened. I recently heard Cindy Jacobs say at least 100 college campuses in America now have 24/7 prayer. Just last week I heard of three colleges that are experiencing many conversions and baptizing students in campus fountains! I was with my dear friends Karen Wheaton and Damon Thompson in Cleveland, TN, and Hamilton, AL, last week ministering to young people and youth pastors. I have never seen such passion. Karens ministry, The Ramp, is definitely one of the seedsmaybe the foremost seedof this awakening. It is incredible.
Also, Lou Engle is resurrecting The Call this year in Nashville, TN, on 07/07/07. This was not an arbitrary dateGod gave it to Lou. I heard a prophet in September, 2006, who knew nothing about Lous plans, prophesy to him that 07/07/07 is an important day to God and that God was speaking to him about an important event on that date. The Lord went on to say He was lowering a scepter into the earth on that day. It was an amazing word.
As I set myself to seek the Lord concerning this date and study Baal because of the warfare I was experiencing, the two issues began to dovetail. I found the number seven in most of the passages where Israel was coming out from under this spirit or warring against one of the Canaanite, Baal worshiping tribes. In seeking to understand the significance of this, the Lord reminded me that seven is a covenantal number.
In a covenant ceremony, an offering was repeated seven times or an oath was sworn seven times. The words oath and swear actually come from the number seven and mean literally to seven ones self. I believe the Lord revealed to me that on 07/07/07, God is offering America the opportunity to end our covenant/marriage with Baal and re-establish our covenant with God as a nation. I am not implying that the full fruit of this will be seen immediately but that the stronghold can be broken and change will follow. This is explained in detail on the CDs and DVDs mentioned earlier. Pray for Lou Engle and this event and if at all possible, be in Nashville with us on 07/07/07. Go to The Calls web site (www.thecall.com) for details. We are asking for 100,000 people to come.
Pray concerning this great youth awakening in general. It will be historical, breaking all records. God is on a mission! He wont be stopped. Nothing is more important to Him at this time.
Prayer Point 3: Government
1) Begin now to pray for the elections of 08. Just when it seems the stakes cant get higher, they do. There are some of the frontrunners running for president who, if they were to win, it would set America back 40 years. We are now coming to the end of a 40 year wilderness cycle that began in the 60s. We cannot afford another. Call forth the purposes of God in 2008.
2) Pray for a completion of what God has begun on the Supreme Court. I sense great lethargy and complacency concerning this at the present time. If we dont get a third right Justice onto the bench, we will not cross over into a new season. Winning this war is imperative! Please pick up this assignment again.
3) Pray against terrorism and concerning the situation in the Middle East. It is absolute deception for us to believe radical Islam can be defeated through natural forces only. We must do a better job of picking up this burden. It is one of the callings of our time and a billion souls are hanging in the balance. I sense another shift is coming soon to this region. Please pray for our President, military, advisors, and all who are involved in this. Bind the prince of Persia and Babylon from prevailing.
Praise Report
The state of Virginia has become the first state (according to them) to formally apologize for the sin of slavery and for exploiting Native Americans. (Go to our web site to see the article.) This is huge! And it is very timely for the nation as we celebrate the 400 year anniversary of our covenant with God at Plymouth Rock April 29 of this year. On the 50 State Tour, the Holy Spirit called Virginia the covenant root of the nation. Can you see how God is preparing the ground for us to re-establish our covenant with Him and break our alliance with Baal?
Conclusion
As you continue to war for your personal regions and territories, please dont forget the nation as a whole. Pray with us. We are winning this war. Thank you for all you do!

The “Burning Bush” at His Second Term
by Lou Engle
When God launched “The Cause,” on this prophetic journey to pray for the ending of abortion, we received a dream that Bob Jones would meet with us, and thrust us forth on our mission. Our company of 70 spent two days with this prophet before embarking on the prayer journey, “The Trail of Tears.”
He gave us a defining word. He said, “We need to have the eagles (the prophets), who see the vision in the spirit, but we have to have the honkers (the wild geese intercessors), who fly in V formation, to breakthrough in the second heaven, and pray the vision of the eagles into being.” Intercessors are the stewards of the prophetic promises of the church, and we made a commitment as a ministry to pray through Bob Jones visions and dreams.
Bob Jones received a vision in 1999, that the “Burning Bush” would come out of Texas, and in the second half of his second term, if the church would pray, he would do much to end abortion, restrain homosexual marriage, and bring prayer back to the schools in America. We believe that we are in a decisive moment of the fulfilling of that dream/vision right now. The favor of President George Bush is at the lowest point ever at this moment. Maybe not with God, but in the view of the American people. We just met with a U.S. Senator, who confirms to us, that almost everything positive seems to be retained and held back on Capitol Hill right now.
The 2006 elections may hinge on the perspective that the people of America hold for President George Bush. And the results of the 2006 elections may either help or hinder President George Bush from fulfilling Gods intention for his presidency. Wherever I go, I can feel the attitude of resignation, criticism, and despair, but the second half of George Bushs second term is not yet here. The question is, will the church give up and yield to opinion polls, criticism, and acquiescence, or will the church pray according to the vision, and believe the prophets and succeed? Bob Jones word was, “...if the church would pray....”
Praying Prepares Us For Battle
Right now, we could be in a moment like the battle for Dunkirk in World War II where, “...everything looked like certain disaster for England and the allied troops.” In his journal entry on May 22, Rees Howells said, “The world is in a panic today and certainly we would be too, unless we were sure the Lord has spoken to us. The destiny of England will be at stake today and tomorrow. In a battle such as we are in today, you cannot trust in a meeting or in feelings. We must go back to what God has told us. There is an enemy that we must keep in check until God does the big thing.” Then on May 30, Rees Howells wrote, “From a worldly standpoint, there is no hope of victory, but God has said it. Instead of bad news about our soldiers, if He is on the field of battle, He can change that and make it very good news.”
Again on May 17, Rees Howells said to his intercessors, “God will not do a bit more through you than you have faith for. You are more responsible for this victory today than the men on that battlefield. You must be dead to everything else but this fight. Because you have committed yourself, you are responsible.” Then on May 18, he declares, “I want to fight with this enemy again this weekend, as if it were the end of civilization. You donât leave anything to chance. Donât allow these men at the front to do more than you do here.” Norman Grubb, author of Rees Howells Intercessor, then writes, “How thankful we are that God had this company of hidden intercessors, whose lives were on the altar day after day, as they stood in the gap for the deliverance of Britain.”
Maybe President Bushâs legacy and the future of our nation hinge more on our prayers than the whole political debate that rages right now. Rees Howells understood it. It is all about, “...if the church will pray.” History belongs to the intercessors. Weve been on a governmental prayer revolution for several years, and to drop the ball at any stage is suicide in the face of the raging powers of darkness that seek to destroy the inheritance of this land.
Prophetic Dream
One of our strong prophetic women had this dream:
I was outside. Then President Bush and his wife walked up to me and just started talking to me. When they started to leave, I told Laura Bush that she was beautiful. As they were walking away, she told President Bush that she felt like she had known me for years. (I believe this says that we are to comfort the Bush family with Godâs vision for them, which is even yet a beautiful vision. Also, they need to continue to experience the intercessory strength and sustenance that the church has given them and they have known in the last six years.)
Then the scene changes, and I was watching a political debate on TV which would determine who would run for president. Al Gore is the only face that I recognized. (I believe this speaks of the present intense opposition and heated political vilification of George Bushs presidency right now, and that the spiritual powers that were confronted six years ago in intercession over the elections are seeking to reassert themselves again and reclaim the ground taken.)
Then in the dream, the channel changed and a headline came across the screen. It read, “The rise and fall of President Bush!” I started to freak out because I knew that he just started the second part of his second term. I could not understand why they were trying to kick him out. (I believe this statement, “The rise and fall of President Bush,” is literally being spoken in the councils of hell right now. This is the strategy of the second heavens even now! I believe this could speak of the desire of his political opponents to derail the 2006 elections, and to impeach George Bush, or to make him a lame duck president in his second term. Even as I am writing this, the Lord just spoke powerfully to my heart that Satan is seeking to do everything he can do to thwart the fulfillment of Bob Jones prophetic word. Everything is raging against what God has promised to do in the second part President Bushs second term-unless the church will pray!)
The screen changed again and this time a map of the United States appeared. The southern states were marked in red, then other states across America slowly turned red. I knew the momentum was changing for the better for President Bush. Then the scene changes, and I am in my car leaving D.C. But I realized I was not suppose to leave, so I did a U-turn and went back to D.C. (I believe that God is saying there will be a turning of the tide of this present negativism and even a shift in the 2006 elections, if the church does not give into a spirit of pessimism and acquiescence—to the present negative atmosphere. We are to do a U-Turn from that attitude, and turn our hearts back to D.C. with focused and fierce intercession.)
The dream continues
Then I was in a car talking about an interview I was about to do on the television talk show called, “The View.” (”The View” is a womens television talk show, where women bring their political views, primarily with a liberal slant. I believe that the church, and particularly women in America with a Godly world view, must rise up with a public voice and concerted intercession. They must articulate Gods view for America to contend with the prevailing Jezebel assault on Godly authority and its corresponding ambition for the position of authority that will mark even the 2008 Presidential elections.)
Then in the dream, I was talking about my new job at the White House working for President Bush. I was asked, “What are you going to do at the White House?” I replied, “I am going to change history!” Then I saw myself with President Bush in his office. We were talking about America and this generation. At one point, we started praying. (We must have this attitude of faith right now that we are going to change history through our intercessions, and that our vocation is to influence the very office of the presidency of the United States. What we do now will change America and this generation, and we are at the point to start praying with a fresh infusion of faith.)
Pray Through Pentecost
Bob Jones has spoken a word that a corporate empowerment is coming to the Body of Christ on Pentecost Sunday. I believe this is an eagle-type word that needs to be carried by the honkers. If we launch prayer in the evening of Mothers Day, May 14, it would be 21 days to Pentecost Sunday and 40 days to June 22 when Cindy Jacobs (a true Deborah in our nation) is holding a “Shift the Nation” prayer gathering in Washington, D.C.
On that same day, June 22, the court case Doe v. Bolton (the second court case of 1973 that sealed Roe v. Wade- the court case that legalized abortion), is slated to be heard in the U.S. Supreme Court. We are calling the church to pray for 21 days to and through Pentecost Sunday. Pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit for a corporate empowerment of the Church, and pray for 40 days for a shifting of our nation, for the ending of abortion, the raising up of righteous judges, and the fulfillment of Gods plan for our president.
E.M. Bounds said, “The prayers of Gods saints are the capitol stock of Heaven, by which God carries on His great work upon the earth. The great throes and mighty convulsions in the world have come about as a result of these prayers. The earth is changed, revolutionized; angels move on more powerful, more rapid wings; and Gods policy is shaped when the prayers of His people are more numerous and more efficient.” -E.M. Bounds, E.M. Bounds on Prayer
I believe this word is true. Let these thoughts grip our mind, “...if the church would pray...” and “...the second half of his second term...”
Lets not be negligent now. Lets pray-lets roll.
Lou Engle
