I posted...How do you equate "Children of Israel" to all Christians under Christ?

You responded... Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Very good. Now read the rest of Galatians. These people were hung up on the same thing you are, but Paul has more to say to them.

Gal 3:10 ¶ For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Gal 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, [it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Gal 3:12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:

I recommend reading Romans 3 also...

Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

"Jesus' words actually contradict the worship of Mary:"

I agree, but when you discuss Mary having special powers with Catholics, they present the same logic you do, when you say, "Where is the verse that recinds Sabbath keeping?" It points to not looking at the other evidences.

Your likening Sabbatarians to Catholics adds nothing to the discussion.

Merely an observation on my part.

However, the tradition of attending sevices and fellowshipping with like minded Christians on the Sabbath is scriptural and I feel very healthy.

I am certainly not saying that you should quit worshiping with other Christians on Saturday. I am merely defending against the idea that Christians are REQUIRED to worship on Saturday.

Sincerely

There is no salvation apart from Abraham. Our only hope is that we are now allowed to be adopted sons of Abraham through the blood of Jesus Christ.

I have painstakingly addressed each of your points, some even twice, yet you do not anser my questions. Who are the Christians in Revelation keeping God's Commandments?

I used to think like you about Paul's writings - that he was abolishing the Law. Then it clicked. Paul was called to the Gentiles and the bulk of his writings are to Gentiles. These folks never knew of the Law until he taught them of the law. It seems to me that most of Paul's writings were to reassure people of things he alread taught them. Now, if put into context that Paul actually taught the Gentiles about the Law, about prohibited meats, and about Sabbath keeping, then they would start taking some flak from their pagan neighbors. Now, if you research the pagan religions, you find that they are very works based. Therefore, pagans who were accustomed of trying to please their gods and idols would naturally acclamate to doing the same for the real God. Then it begin to makes sense why Paul would have to tell them that faith should lead to obedience, but obedience will never lead to salvation. I do not keep the Sabbath to try to make God happy with me, I do it because I love God and I trust that He meant what He wrote in stone to be in my best interest.

"Eternal Security" is a doctrine created by man that is so incredibly conflicted with the Bible that a rational person should laugh at it. Eternal Security licenses sin and is a synonym to the "mystery of lawlessness" in my book. Paul writes that we need to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. What is there to be scared of if salvation is assured? James writes that faith without works is death. The dead are judged according to their works - written twice in Revelation. The list goes on.

Your ascertation that the Sabbath command was not repeated in the NT is simply because it was a given. They argued over what to do on the Sabbath - nobody except men have ever suggested that the Sabbath is no longer valid. Your claim that Sabbath keeping is immoral is also reprehensible. God's Law, written by His own finger, defines morality. Resting from this sinfull world and fellowshipping with my bretheren is moral.
