Just curious, but did that issue of how many angels can dance on the head of a pin ever get resolved. If so, what was the final tally?

You understand that that is a geometrical question, not an angelogical? It's about points and area. Spiritual things don't "take up space" but they can have a location. And the rest follows. The answer is "as many as you please".

Angels are incorporeal beings. Only beings with bodies can be said to occupy space. An infinite numer could be there....
Also, such a question was never considered by Medieval Theologians. It is a canard meant to caricature great Theologians as out of touch with reality and occupied with fantastical ideas inapplicable to life on Earth
