Jesus told the Apostles, "Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the Lost Sheep of Israel" [Matthew 10:5-6].
Because you say it's false doesn't make it so.
What I say is that you allow your false tradition to trump this above scripture. Rome was Gentile!
Because the Early Church Fathers said something does not make it true! When their pronouncements directly contradict established scripture, I'll go with scripture! I understand you folks don't do that. You will inevitably go with your tradition....ignoring established scripture.
