St. Paul was celibate. St. Paul was a bishop. Therefore it is possible to be both celibate and a bishop.

It follows that your interpretation of 1 Timothy is erroneous. I have offered an interpretation which is consistent with 1 Corinthians 7. You have not.

It's quite simple, really. And the use of logic has nothing to do with "being led around by the nose by some priest".
