I'd be guessing you've seen the only one.
I also found the younger Louttit referred to almost universally as "pro-institutional". So he would never decide to jump ship or place his diocese under another organization. But he's in bad odor with the Integrity types because he voted against the consecration of Vicki Gene.
So I think he may have one foot on the dock and one foot on the departing vessel . . . an uncomfortable place to be.
I do seriously question how long my parents' church can just ignore all the goings-on. They DO have a large endowment that is owned free and clear, and they do have a deed to the church and cemetery that has a reversion if it ever passes out of the ownership of the church corporation . . . and the deed predates the Dennis Canon. But Georgia law is very much against them.
I'd be guessing you've seen the only one.
No, believe it or not, the Diocese of Mississippi had the Duncan Grays--father, son, and grandson. Duncan Gray I, Duncan Gray II, and the current Duncan Gray III...all bishops of Mississippi.
as long as we Catholics don't see too many father and son teams of bishops. *snort*
Unless they're converts...
