"Episcopostate": I like that word. I don't know why. Can't say that I do -- the o/a conflict is but one element of it. Knowing orthodox still in that church, and still fighting, is another. (Would one label the French WWII Resistance as "cheese-eating surrender-monkeys"? I wouldn't. YMMV.)
