Traditional Anglican ping, continued in memory of its founder Arlin Adams. I have been estranged from the ECUSA since a former Presiding Bishop publically voiced his opposition to U.S. actions in the first Gulf War to evict the Iraqis from Kuwait. But, it was merely the straw that broke the camel's back. Church leadership have been apostates for some time now.
I am not, however, estranged from the Anglican Communion writ large. The last church in which I was both an active communicant and Vestry member was in Wiesbaden, Germany and was jointly in the Province of both the Episcopal Church of the U.S. and of the Bishop of London in his capacity as Primate of Overseas Parishes. I remain obedient to the Bishop of London, but will not set foot in an American parish until the issue of primacy is resolved.
