One thing I heard about Spinoza which I admire him for, if true, was that his parents disinherited him and left everything to his sister. He then took her to court to claim what was rightfully his and won. He then gave it over to her. He fought just for the sake of principle. I like that!

People who don't believe in G-d seem to be just slopping over with principal. That's why they're worrying themselves into apoplexy about "social justice" and screaming for a worldwide totalitarian state that will protect "mother earth."

Of course, here on FR we have atheist Randian capitalists who spend all their time worrying that creationists will cost them tax cuts. As a matter of fact, Ayn Rand invented an entire philosophy to create an objective moral/ethical reality in a meaningless world--the Karl Marx of the right!

An atheist with principals is nothing in the world but a hypocrite, and I admire none of them.
