To Catholics, the gap between Mary and the Trinity is infinite. Even the most extravagant Marianists give her a status less than that according to Jesus by the Arians. She is not a goddess, The title Queen of Angels is about as lofty as one gets and it says it all: For all their powers, the angels are mere creatures.

That there are any "Marianists"( Mariologists?) is to me borderline blasphemous.
I think you are being a bit coy when you say that the Title Queen of the Angels is as lofty as it gets. Perhaps you have missed this bit:

"From our earliest years nothing has ever been closer to Our hearts than devotion filial, profound, and wholehearted to the most blessed Virgin Mary. Always have We endeavored to do everything that would redound to the greater glory of the Blessed Virgin, promote her honor, and encourage devotion to her... Great indeed is Our trust in Mary. The resplendent glory of her merits, far exceeding all the choirs of angels......
..For, God has committed to Mary the treasury of all good things....For this is His will, that we obtain everything through Mary.."
This was written in the Encyclical UBI Primum, by Pope Pius IX in the year 1849. If you want the entire text go here.http://www.ewtn.com/library/ENCYC/P9UBIPR2.Htm,

It is really hard to avoid the fact that Roman Catholics have a very different view of Mary than the one that is presented in the Bible.
If you think that is right, just believe it and make your case, but do not pretend that it is Scriptural.
I have a great deal more respect for the intellectual integrity of those RC's who admit that much of what they think is " developed " doctrine, and that they are not relying on the Bible alone. Why do you all insist that this is not the case when it is rather plain that the above ( read it in it's entirety) is so far from the Mary found in the Gospels as to be frankly irreconcilable.
