Oh, there was plenty of deconstructing going in right here in the middle of the Bible belt. All three dioceses in North Carolina are deeply revisionists.

I think what happens is, all the liberals who have moved to places like North Carolina (especially around Asheville, where the moonbats seem to congregate . . . why is that?) wind up in the Episcopal church, 'cause they can't stand the evangelicals, and either there aren't any Unitarians to speak of (although I bet there are some in Asheville) or they're not quite loony enough to join the UUs.

The Diocese of Atlanta is utterly revisionist/heretical. The Diocese of Georgia (south half of the state) less so, but there aren't enough Episcopalians in South Georgia to fill a good sized high school football stadium.
