There was a comment on VirtueOnline to the effect that the orthodox supported her as a means of forcing the division between TEC (that seems to be their new preferred acronym, with "ECUSA" joining "PECUSA" in the dustbin). And even the invitation itself could be a furtherance of same, by letting more of the diocese see her for what she is.
