Spectators were impressed by the tenacity of Servetus' faith. Perishing in the flames, he is said to have cried out, "O Jesus, Son of the Eternal God, have pity on me!"

Farel, who witnessed the execution, observed that Servetus, defiant to the last, might have been saved had he but called upon "Jesus, the Eternal Son."

Servetus was a rejecter of the Holy Trinity, and he was one who taught other men also to do so.

He would be rejected in Christian circles even today.

It is murder (and evil) to kill anybody because of their religious beliefs, especially in the name of Christ.

"Michael Servetus (1509 or 1511-October 27, 1553), a Spaniard martyred in the Reformation for his criticism of the doctrine of the trinity and his opposition to infant baptism,"

Hey, he got one right out of two and that ain't bad. That should earn him some merit where ever he is. I wonder if anyone is still praying or working for his soul? That denial of the Trinity could earn him a long stretch in the spiritual wash room.
