We also left our church. I could relate to a lot of what you said as we experienced the same attitudes. I had even used the same term...."tsunami" as well.
It's not just the ECUSA...I hear this from people who attend (or try to worship) at the different mainline denominations. Fortunately, my husband and I are on the same page as well.
