Wow. The madness is beginning on 13 June, the feast of St. Anthony of Padua - the second great Franciscan (after their founder, St. Francis of Assisi himself) and a famous preacher and teacher.
Dear St. Anthony, glorious on account of your miracles, you are famous as patron of the lost and for calling people back to the faith. The Church has called you "Hammer of Heretics," "Ark of the Testament" and the "Repository of Holy Scripture." I beg you, turn your eyes and heart to this convention of my former church, containing so many that are lost. Pray for them to repent and return to the Way, the Truth and the Life. Bless me, powerful Saint Anthony, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
