We have an "icon-style" picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in our dining room. It's kind of a trans-cultural goof, since the Sacred Heart devotion is Western European!
It's pretty, though, and we also have St. Thomas the Apostle in our sons' room - gave it to our son Thomas for his First Communion present. In spite of the "global community," I don't suppose there's an icon of Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson :-).

Oh, I don't know. There's some loonie, syncretist Franciscan "iconographer" named Lentz who has made "icons" of all kinds of people...MLK springs to mind as does Einstein. If you want something to get the blood boiling, look at this:
