I routinely make a point of quietly mentioning him specifically by name during the general intercession for our Hierarchy!

Interestingly, and although he's fearless & articulate when it comes to preaching the moral Gospel, he's apparently capable of occasionally straying far enough left on social issues to be known within a few Alberta conservative quarters as "Fred the red".
Then again, our beloved late Holy Father also leaned a tad too far in that direction now & then as well.
