That is why the Lord said 'ye' must be born again (plural-everyone), not 'you' referring to only Nicodomus (Jn.3:3)
So, let's say you are up in front of a class, and you have just passed out copies of a multiple page examination, and you want the students to be sure to check that no pages are missing from their copies. You would say:
a. "ye should check thine copy to make sure it has 5 pages"
or
b. "You should check your copy to make sure it has 5 pages"
If you don't like my example, tell me that you never use a plural you.
