The fact that you need to explain your doctrinal positions in your own words after you post your KJV verses means that the KJV needs to be (gasp) "paraphrased" in order to be understood.

I don't find that to be the case at all.

It's actually quite easy to read and understand.

When my now 15 year old son was in the first grade, he could read the AV, and we often read it to each other and discussed it. We still do.

we often read it to each other and discussed it.

What is there to discuss? The KJV stands alone does it not? So your preaching and discussion should consist of nothing but the posting of KJV verses. Any attempt to explain or to paraphase the Holy KJV would imply that it was not a perfect translation; that it needs your input to convey its true meaning.

Frankly, Full Court, if the KJV is a perfect translation, you ought to be using Elizabethan English when you post. You really ought to be using "Thee's" and "Thou's" instead of "Dude's" and "Babe's".

"When my now 15 year old son"

Bingo, now we see where the "dude", "babe" and "sweetie" comes from. You are being overtaken by the culture. Teach him to say "y'all". That's really Alabama southern jargon.
