And for those who don't speak English, there should be translations of the TR into their native language.

But my point ftd, is that the KJV was described as "God’s teaching in homely English for everyman."

No one is saying the King James is the only valid translation...

Oh, I think some are.

How did this morph into a mormon thread?

It's my fault. It started here

Perhaps you can lead the thread elsewhere.

Actually I have been trying to turn this into a thread on the Evils of Pokemon, but I can't find anyone who is the least bit interested.

So, the Mormon church has 'relics; just like the Roman Catholic Church did?

We would need a reformation.

Why a new reformation? The NIV effort was started by the CRC and was headed up by Edwin Palmer, of very Calvin of very Calvin fame.

"Yes, we're even having a Neener Prom & Dance this year."

The bad news is we won't know who is coming since we don't have a list. But the good news is we won't have to spend money on RSVP cards since we won't be sending invitations. Sort of like a Calvinist prom. If you were predestined to be there you will be.

I almost forgot. Does He predestine the time and place and whether it is business casual or semi formal?

Yes, there are strict protocols. For all baptist, holiness, and pentecostaljesusonly's there'll be no dancing above the ankle nor below the neck nor either of these simultaneously!

Can I lead?

Only if it comes natural....

(Woman's place and all. I don't tolerate a woman teaching or usurping authority over a man's dancing. :>)

Come Just As You Are.

Marlowe is in charge of the music and booking the band.

The only restriction is that there'll be no more break-dancing by NYer to souped up Gregorian Chants.
