After becoming Catholic, I was attending a Lutheran service with my husband, and noticed some of the language adjusted to reflect the "feminine" side of God, when it hit me. I don't need all this female God crap -- I have a spiritual mother in Mary. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee....

And the central doctrine abut Mary is that she is only human, or if divine, divine only in the way that we hope to be when we shall be resurrected from the dead.
