Lord, look at all of us turning to you for our help. You are He who walks with us through the valley of the shadow, He who anoints our heads with oil. Be with us, and all of us who are hurting, or frightened, and in need or tired and exhausted with the crosses we are carrying. Touch us with that peace that can only come from you, and bring us safely at last to that home you have prepared.

In the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, we ask this of you, O Father, Amen.

Amen. Prayers for all of our dear brothers and sisters who are going through the trials. May we all be brought closer to God and to each other.

For my cousin John who had a stroke and has drifted off into a coma. He is 87 and his wife passed on this past fall.

The Lord be with John and that we will all meet and adore our God.

Hi Knit,
A further update on Carol. She had some more tests (bone scan, etc) and they all came back negative, so she is pretty upbeat now. Tomorrow is her surgery.....so lots of prayers are appreciated. She won't know, till afterwards, what sort of chemo or radiation she'll need. Right now she just wants to move on to the next stage and put this all behind her! Thanks for all your support and prayers!
Bette

Prayers up for all concerned. The Lord is faithful. He hears every prayer spoken in earnest faith, and He delights to answer in ways far more wonderful than we can imagine or think.
