The article's content is nothing new for me, but I would add that there should have been a worthy mention of the "counter-Jansensist" liturgical movement begun by Dom Gueranger (sp?) in the 19th. Century.
Today's TLM communities are the rightful heirs to this positive monastic movement which sought to restore chant (which Pope St. Pius X did) and an overall liturgical life to the Church (esp. the laity). This liturgical movement was hijacked and squandered by the neo-Jansenists in the 60's.
As traditionalists, I think we have to UNIFORMLY articulate our position as being that of a loyal opposition (loyal to the Pope but critical of disciplinary practices). This would also include accepting Vatican II as a valid council, but pointing out that not all the details contained therein are above criticism. Etc.
