"Wherefore the sin which is opposed to the greater good is, in respect of its genus, more grievous, for instance a sin committed against God is graver than a sin committed against ones neighbor."
Please name one sin that is committed against one's neighbor that is not a sin that is committed against God. please conceder the following
Mat 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Mat 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
the sin of schism is against God. schism is when you take a knife and cut up the Body of Christ.

"..schism is when you take a knife and cut up the Body of Christ." The true Body of Christ is the invisible Church (the regenerate - individuals in whom the Holy Spirit dwells). These individuals (not a "church organization") comprise the Bride of Christ. It isn't possible for them to be divided.
Since the visible Church is composed of a mixture of the regenerate sheep (light/truth) and the un-regenerate goats (darkness), the schism is already there. Truth, itself, divides.
