TODAY'S CONSPIRACY DU JOUR

I stumbled across this earlier this morning, looking for something completely unrelated on the Internet. This is a thread tailor-made for all you conspiracy buffs out there. You know who you are - or do you????

Those of you who know me know that, while I'm not much of a conspiracy buff, when a conspiracy theory dives far enough off the deep end to hit the Ogasawara Trench, it actually hits my funny bone. In the words of Dave Barry, "I am not making this up." Trust me, I couldn't make up stuff this weird, and God knows I've tried. This article, and the collection of links within the article/website, don't represent my faith. Don't ask me to defend it. If you really think there's a secret cabal running the world invisibly, you're probably already dead just from the untracable contact poison painted on your computer's mouse. You should have never clicked on this thread! As for the rest of us - whether you are Catholic, Protestant, CFR, Jewish Banker, Illuminati or otherwise - feel free to discuss.

And if you want to read about the Guidestones from a pro-guidestone website, look here -- http://www.thegeorgiaguidestones.com.

404 for your links. Maybe they're "slashdotted".

Wikipedia has a bit on them.

A man using the name "John Conner" has called for the Guidestones to be removed from public property saying they are an occult monument. He believes the name "R.C. Christian" is actually a reference to Christian Rosenkreuz, the supposed founder of the Rosicrucians, a secret society dating back to the 15th century. ---Wikipedia

The John Conner of YoYo Dyne Propulsion? The plot thickens.

Conner can't do anything without Bigboote's permission, and you know it. And even then, John Whorfin has to approve.

No THEORY at all.

I'd thought such had been posted before. Maybe not as a thread starter.

IMPORTANT POST, anyway.

Thanks.

You're correct in one major point, namely that there really are some honkin' huge granite slabs out in Georgia, and that someone paid for them to be hewn, engraved, erected, and maintained.

Where the "conspiracy" portion enters in, is over who the group was, what their purpose was for doing so, and how effective they've been/will be in pulling it off (assuming they're the ones that managed it, and not one of the other conspiratorial groups floating around out there).

Conspiracy fact--sure.

Conspiracy theory--no. Not theory. Far too much evidence for theory, in my case--had to work with toooooo many documents from the puppet masters' own publications.

AVOID PETTY LAWS AND USELESS OFFICIALS.

This seems to be a concept completely alien to any human society to date.

Maybe R.C. Christian is an extra-terrestrial biological entity.

Conspiracy fact--sure.

Seems pretty ineffective (considering all the money and effort spent on the monument) to be considered a viable conspiracy. I don't know a whole lot of people who come back from Georgia spiritually altered from the experience. There's a giant prairie dog statue - reputedly the world's largest - in Oakley, Kansas that IMO achieves the same result, and no one's accusing that of being part of a conspiracy.

So help me out here - what makes the Georgia Guidestones any different (besides the content etched into them)?

True. Though I suppose it's dependent on the definitions.

The globalist power mongers are putting their planning where their writings are . . . as well as their actions.

Reportedly their plan for the eventual law and enforcement scheme is to shoot on sight any theives etc. etc. etc.

Termination for virtually ANY law breaking--especially by the second time but mostly on the first offense.

And, they've been pretty good and effective at terminating whole families in some cases where too much was at risk of being disclosed to the public--termination of whole families as an object lesson, of course.

I'm puzzled you'd ask that with Col 4:5 as your tagline.

Seems to me that this is THE extremely fitting era to be redeeming the time.

Even logically, from Biblical prophecy, we could guess that much of the content of the Georgia Guidestones would be the evil global government's aim.

The stones are merely a tiny puzzle piece of the ungrand scheme. But they are a very telling puzzle piece. And, rather brazenly in public view, at that.

Your post seems to treat the content etched into them as inconsequential, irrelevent, of no impact.

I don't.

When a group of the most monied and powerful folks in the world decide that the world's population MUST be reduced forcefully from current levels and projections down to 500,000,000 . . .

AND

that group has been working on a diversity of draconian measures to achieve that--for decades . . .

I do NOT consider that of little or no impact.

It's very curious to me that you would.

I still do not think that much of anyone left of center

. . . as well, sadly as probably a majority of those right of center . . .

Let me say it this way . . . Virtually all those left of center and more than half of those right of center

were in 2000 and remain in 2006 virtually clueless about to what extremely serious degree Gore as well as Billdo and Shrillery Klintoon as well as Scuba Teddy, Boxerface, Puhlousey, Reid, et al

HAVE BEEN RATHER HEART, MIND AND SOUL SOLD OUT TO SUCH PLANS AND VALUES FOR A VERY LONG TIME.

And they are not slackening their press toward such goals in the least.

Actually, that's a typo that I unwittingly committed sometime last week. Thank you for pointing it out, so that I could correct it! It was supposed to be Colossians 4:6, which reads

Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
Seems to me that this is THE extremely fitting era to be redeeming the time....Even logically, from Biblical prophecy, we could guess that much of the content of the Georgia Guidestones would be the evil global government's aim.

IMO it's always a fitting era to be redeeming the time. You're operating under the unstated assumption that we're living in the last days. More specifically, that the premillennial, pretribulational view of future events is the only legitimate, Biblical interpretation of the prophecies in Daniel and Revelations and the only legitimate method of interpreting current events. Thus, the Rosicrucians must be preparing the way for the Antichrist, the conspiracy's true, and worst of all they're destined to succeed in their plans until the Second Coming. They're not (assuming the worst otherwise) just another corrupt, sinful unbelieving organization seeking to amass power and influence on Earth.

You forget that I'm a Calvinistic, Reformed Postmillennialist. I don't agree with any of the pretrib/premil expectations/assumptions. Even should the Rosicrucian conspiracy prove to be true, it doesn't mean that it prophetically must succeed in history at this time. And for these reasons, I don't agree with the accusations/conclusions that the Guidestones are an inherently evil harbinger, placed there by an inherently evil organization, bent on ruling the world to the glory of her secret god Satan.

We shall see which perspective has resonated more with

"objective"

reality however many years hence.

After seeing the track record of the pretrib/premil crowd interpreting a hundred years of "objective" reality (especially Hal Lindsey), I'm all the more convinced of the postmil (or at least the amil) position. I fully understand the pretrib/premil position - in fact, I used to hold it myself - I just have come to believe the postmil view is more consistent with the commands of Matthew 28:18-20 and the expectations of Matthew 16:18-19.

Here's some recommended reading if you want to see the scorecard for pretrib/premil historic interpretation:

I don't pretend to have it all figured out.

I don't believe any mortal does.

God seems to have engineered it so we all need each other to offer our own unique puzzle piece perspectives.

However, I am utterly convinced that these are the Biblical "last days" whatever happens vis a vis being caught up to meet Him in the sky and it's timing vis a vis The Great Tribulation etc.

And, it doesn't take even being a Spirit-filled Christian to discern the times to some degree. New Agers, Native Americans and tribal peoples around the globe assert that there's a massive global change on the relatively near if not very near horizon.

Of course, mileage may vary.

Suit yourself. I'm certainly not your judge nor even that much of a judge of your perspective.

I also believe that most objective folks can read the Bible in one hand and the daily news in the other and see rather repeatedly and with increasing intensity and breadth that said Biblical prophecies are coming increasingly true and world events are marching increasingly toward fulfillment of more and more of them.

At least . . . those of my primary reference group can . . . along with a host of others.
