Then why does one need a baptizer at all? Just jump in the swimming hole and say "I baptize myself in the name of Jesus for remission of sin!" Several (in)famous church founders have done it!

I was wondering when someone else was going to reach that same conclusion :D

How do you know that God didn't batpize you when you were stuck in that last torrential rainstorm without an umbrella? Or when you were minding your own business sitting on the beach and a rogue wave came up from nowhere and knocked you over?

Baptism is only valid if it is done in the River Jordan. That's the only body of water named in Scripture.

That's what I think.
