My son did that this year, strictly as a swim team thing. Most of the guys on the swim team do it just before sectionals as a kind of a take off, or sarcastic commentary, about what that much chlorine does to ones hair. Then they all shave it off the day before sectionals and all look like a bunch of punk skin heads till it grows back in. *sigh* I know what people are thinking when they look at him. What's a mother to do?
LOL. I shaved my head a couple times in college. Once as a freshman, after doing so, I greeted a classmate I saw in the hallway. She was kinda freaked out at first because she didn't recognize me with a shaved head, and I guess nice Jewish girls are nervous around unfamiliar guys with shaved heads. (After she realized it was someone she knew well, she wasn't freaked out.) Still, that's one reason why I don't do the cueball look anymore
