I thank G-d that He is concerned with my inner most being instead of my outer shell. The problem with too many Christians is that they think they are better than non-Christians... this is based on what? But for the Blood of Jesus we would all be as sinful as non-believers. But He is our rightousness. In order to reach young people, you have to be approachable and able to relate to them on some level. I believe in modesty and decorum, there is a time a place for everthing, but just because I don't wear dresses down to my ankles and I like big flashy earrings, doesn't mean that G-d will reject me. I could have blue hair and a nose ring and G-d will accept me into heaven as long as I have accepted and worshipped through Jesus.
What ever you reach them with will be whatever you win them to.
Actually He is concerned with both.
1 Timothy 2:9 ¶In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel...
Isn't that wonderful?

I do not believe Pastor Kidd was saying the christians are "better" than anyone else. He is saying that christians should have a different standard of dress and modesty than the world.

His point is not that dressing a certain way makes one a Christian, a born again believer. His point is about not dressing our children in sexual manners, or emulating the world in sensual dress.
Two different subjects, salvation, and how one acts and or dresses after salvation.
I don't believe he is addressing salvation, how to be saved or if clothing makes you somehow holy. :-)
