Bro. Cloud wrote this in response to someone who claimed he was negative.
"As for me being a healthy Christian and feeding solely on negativity, you must be right, of course. I don't do anything at all other than sit around thinking and writing negativism 24 hours a day. I never talk and laugh with my sweet Christian wife. I never take her out on dates. When my boys were teenagers, I didn’t take them to baseball and basketball games or shooting guns or salmon fishing or snow boarding and skiing or playing Rook or anything at all. I don’t play with my granddaughter. I don’t enjoy going to the assembly to sing praises to God and hear the Word of God preached and to fellowship with the saints. I don’t have friends all over the world that I enjoy spending time with. I don’t have sweet times of prayer every day with the Lord. I don’t spend at a couple of hours every day answering e-mails from people who seek my help. I didn’t write a Bible Encyclopedia to bless and edify God’s people. I didn’t write a large book explaining difficult things in the Bible. I didn’t write a joke book to make the hearts of God’s people merry. I didn’t write a 15-volume Bible school course to help God’s people become better grounded in the Word of God. I didn’t start a Bible translation project which resulted in the creation of a sound New Testament in one of the Asian languages. I haven’t spent fourteen years in South Asia seeing souls won to Christ and starting sound New Testament churches.
All of these things must be the figment of my imagination, because I am a fundamentalist and everyone knows that fundamentalists are totally unhealthy, negative people."
