Some of my songs for remembering Terri and a little on the passing of Pope John Paul mixed in.
You got some musical ideas.
Add em in.

"I Want to Rock & Roll all Night" by Kiss. No mix-tape is complete without this song.

No respect for the deceased, I see.

Also evidenced by someone who would pick that Tanya Tucker song!

Thanks -- I was wondering when someone else would say that.
To: linda_22003
The Tanya Tucker song may have a line or two that would fit the occasion but the Kiss reference was over the top and meant as a poke in the eye to those who wish to remember Ms. Schindler and The Pope. ....JMHO....

I wonder if you ever considered the meaning of "Rest in Peace" as you dance in her ... shadow? If that doesn't make the point, I wonder if you ever consider the meaning of "Requiescat in Pace" as you dance in her blood? Move on, there's nothing new here.

The whole thing is an exercise in poor taste, JMHO as well.

I've been described as many things in my lifetime.
One person I worked with called me a "progressive fundamentalist" and it is in that spirit (if a label is to be applied) that I operate.
The real me may offend the "liberal","humanist" and also the "legalist","conservative."
Regardless, I treat the memory of last year with great reverence and the music is intended to carry that through.
I will have more to say during the week about the killing of Terri.

" Fire and Rain-James Taylor (Speaks for itself-the pain of that day, 3-31-05)"
This song was about someone who commits suicide.
"The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down-Joan Baez (No doubt part of her anti-war repetoire of 1970, but messages like "it was the winter of 65, we were hungry, just barely alive")"
A song about the fall of the confederacy?
" The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald-"
A shipwreck song, about the power of nature...
Your choices are almost as disorganized as your homepage.
Very tacky. (I won't even start about *Jive Talkin*)

There is nothing wrong with people remembering Ms. Schindler or The Pope in their own way. No matter which side of the debate you came down on, there is nothing wrong with this post.

On the right side of the latest comments page there's a section titled "Browse by Forum". You can chose one forum or all the forums (All of the above). There's no option to view just some forums.

How about that John Ashcroft song?

Thanks for the list of songs, and in each case I can see why you make the recommendation.
There is a cd which was a compliation in honor of Lady Diana - I can look up the reference - has some similar themes.

You are one of my critics, I thought you would be more "broad minded" considering your love of evolution and disdain for "religion" as science.
But hey the attack is on and I love it.
"God Bless the USA"-Lee Greenwood. We are free to disagree.
