[IMHO, those who've swum this river or that, to Orthodoxy or Roman Catholicism, will not likely be coming back (and who is more zealous than the new convert?). Those who have gone to Protestant churches may, when there is something re-unified to come back to (his "North American Reformed Anglicanism")... though even in the interim some find their way back to the Continuing churches. The re-integration of the Continuing churches will also not be easy, but may well happen over time. The large gulf that the merging APA and REC are bridging is a hopeful sign in this regard. My own meetings with laity in other Continuing groups hints at a universal desire among Continuing Anglicans to reunite -- we may just have to lean on our respective church structures a bit. --sionnsar]

An interim step might be an organization like NAPARC( http://www.naparc.org/ ).
