You made a good point, at times it seems that people are "talking past" each other, oblivious to the possibility that today there is a principled understanding of these tragic events. Since, as Natural Christians Law theory holds, one may never intend to kill an innocent human being, because of their faith, and to do so would devaluate ones faith, but not necessary valuate the others. No matter what one has done, one or more innocent human beings may be not be harmed or even die in the process of resolving their faith.
Application: The act of killing one because of their faith or in todays equivalent Abortion, is by its very nature inherently evil act, because it is the intentional and direct killing of an innocent human being. And finally, we see this today with modern equivalent when some churches are approving of abortion. Todays abortions, like the killings of the past, are acts fundamentally and inherently evil, and cannot be morally permitted regardless of any good intentions or goals, or under any good circumstances and to do so devaluate that faith.
