****Alexander Campbell and Barton Stone were both important figures in the restoration movement in this country, but by no means founded the church.
***The church was founded by our Lord Jesus Christ.***
But when other Christians claim to be founded on the Lord Jesus Christ you bow up and claim they are founded on the teachings of men. No different from being founded on the teachings of Alexander Campbell.
What makes "YOU" right and "THEM" wrong.
The church to which I was added on the day I obeyed the Gospel is not founded on the teachings of any man. It is found on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Just because Alexander Campbell or someone else helped lead the restoration movement in this country does not mean what he said is considered inspired. The whole point of the Restoration Movement was to get back to the Bible.
