Even though I am not Irish, we celebrate that day. You see my identical twin brother, who had cerebral palsey, died on that day in 1972. (My family considers him one of our angels in Heaven who watches over us.)
We celebrate his life on St. Patrick's Day, and have been doing so for many years.
He's enriched our faith in more ways than I can count, and continues to be a beacon of light for our family.
If you would all like I can share with you a wonderful Irish Soda Bread Recipe that is in abundant supply during this time of year around our house. (Karen, I know you have your recipe already. ; ) ) I can do so this evening.
Blessings to you!
- Jay
