The last time I checked, the CEC wanted to eventually come into communion with Rome.
Is this no longer the case?

I've actually heard nothing from the CEC about this; are you thinking of the TAC, perhaps? My father once described the CEC as a group of Protestants (denomination forgotten) who discovered the Book of COmmon Prayer.

No, I mean the CEC.

A few years ago, one of their priests wrote a piece in the New Oxford Review. In doing a little research, I struck up an e-mail relationship with someone within the CEC, and he told me of their hopes to eventually come into communion with the Catholic Church.
