Dear Friends in Jesus and Mary,

I am absolutely shocked by the last comment on this thread. The Comment I quote from the first line of "BremenBoy" calls the Catholic Church as the Apostate Catholic Church.

I really wonder what he means? The Catholic Church as most of us know it was founded by Our True King and Lord Jesus Christ and by his 12 Apostles and has spread to all parts of the world.

NYer, you could correct me if I am wrong on this point.

However, I am not here to argue with anyone. Let the Theologians or anyone else do that. However, It needs to be said that there are some individuals as well as Churches in a number of countries in the West who are as bad as Hindu Radicals in India or Moslem Radicals in Islamic Countries with regard to their constant attacks on the Catholic Church and their diatribe against it.

I am so glad that I and my Ancestors were given the precious gift of the Catholic Faith even though, the Portuguese Catholic Missionaries who came to Goa in the 16th Century on the South-West Coast of India are being constantly demonized by Hindu Radicals and those sympathetic to them even as I write to you.

Finally, As this thread is about the 75th Anniversary of the Apparition of Jesus to Saint Faustina-- I wish to post an excellent web page for your perusal.

This web page was started by two Orthodox Catholic Women -- one of them is from Israel and the other is a Journalist from the United Kingdom. They have done some awesome work.

If anyone has Broadband but not a dial up connection, you will know what I mean. Both of these Ladies have transcribed the entire Diary of Saint Faustina and posted it on this site, apart from that there are numerous awesome links related to the Divine Mercy.

I would highly recommend that it should be checked out at least one by anyone who is devoted to Jesus Christ-- Divine Mercy Incarnate.

As, NYer may know this about me. Not only, Do I have a great Devotion to the Divine Mercy at 34 going on 35 but my family in India has been involved in the promotion of this devotion for the past 16 years.

Even before, Saint Faustina was beatified in 1993 we used to recite the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy every night after the Family Rosary but from 1993 the Year when she was beatified we pioneered the spread of this awesome devotion to all parts of India as well as to all Cities and Towns and specially to Mission Dioceses in North, Central, and Eastern India.

Later, in 1995 when a Chinese Catholic Evangelist sent us large amounts of literature as well as the Video "Time for Mercy" where Joe Campanella is the narrator we spread it to a number of countries in the Persian Gulf with the help of Friends and Relatives as well as to a number of places in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada too all through Devotees and Relatives.

This devotion has brought many blessings on my Family and all who recite the Chaplet and the Three O'Clock Prayer.

In Goa, India -- a saintly Discalced Carmelite Friar built a magnificent Shrine to the Divine Mercy some years back, unfortunately that Shrine to the Divine Mercy does not have a web page.

P.S.- On E.W.T.N. Television which is broadcast to India. On a capsule called "Faith Matters" a Sri Lankan Priest by the name of Father Gyom Nonis has spoken quite often about the Spiritual Miracles wrought by the Divine Mercy in his Parish Church which is in the Archdiocese of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
