The first "Christians" were observing 7th day Sabbath, Jewish feast days, still considering themselves Jewish, taking Nazarite vows, ritually bathing in the Mikvah. Fortunately, the Council of Jerusalem (cf Acts 15:23ff) prevented those practices from spreading to the new churches being made up from the Gentiles.
