I've seen this guy on TV. He strikes me as phonier than a 3 dollar bill. I'm suprised the Catholic Church would have anything to do with him.

Bob definitely works the fund raising angle in a way that I wouldn't, were I in his position.
However, I have a couple of his books. Very high quality, especially 'Larson's Book of Cults'. We used it as a text book in Bible College.

Father Amorth pointed out that when Benedict XVI was a cardinal he was part of the committee that updated the current Catholic exorcism ritual. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Personally, I think you guys are all being too hard on the Rev. Larson. Sending out a fundraising appeal to Pentecostals while praising the Catholic Church at the same time takes guts. Of course, I've never heard of him before this - I'm going by this incident only.
