Actually, there ARE enough hours in four months.

30(2) + 31(2) = 122 days. If one of the months was February, then the total is either 119 or 120. For the sake of discussion, we'll go with 119.

119 days converted into hours (times by 24) = 2856 hours. One less than 2857.

Now if we go with 122, we get 2,928 hours.

All in all, if we went with 122, this means (logically), that with all the working she did on the investigation, there'd be enough hours to earn the money she got...but this would mean she only got around 71 hours of sleep in four months.

If we went with 120 days in four months, she got 23 hours of sleep in four months.

If we went with 119 days...she got -1 hours of sleep.

I've worked with engineers for years and it would be so engineer-ish to caluclate that out like that. ;-)
