I am, by no means, a Greek scholarm but I am pretty confident that "the word of the Lord" means the Gospel message; especially aince there are other instances in the Bible where Christ is referred to as 'the Word'.

When one does a study of what Y'shua preached;
one will discover,
He did not preach anything else other than the Tanach.

He condemned the traditions of man and always pointed to the Holy Word of G-d

b'shem Y'shua
