Just a little something different and comforting. Don't know if this has been posted before, but thought if it helped lift one person's soul today it was worth posting.
~ D E A T H ~WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO EXPLAIN IT
A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said, "Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side."
Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know." "You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?"
The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.
Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing... I know my Master is there and that is enough."
May today there be peace within you.
Here's one for you :)
Leatherneck, if you ever come by Edmond, Ok. the first drink is on me. Thanks buddy.
Wow...love this!
Very nice!
I think when we arrive on "the other side" we'll be struck by how much of it is actually familiar to us, only we'll perceive it with perfect clarity because all the background noise of physical reality will be gone. I'd liken it to a person with myopia who gets glasses for the first time.
Corn and a little salt.
Thanks for sharing canine wisdom.
Very profound, thanks for posting.
I'll take you up on that :)
Nothing
Wait, i thought it was all like, 72 virgins and hangover free booze 24/7 ?
What you said.
drop me a line by FReepmail or post to me however. Just give me a little advanced operational instruction, if you know what I mean!!
Amen!! That's good enough for me too! Thanks for posting it. :o)
Thanks. I really like this analogy.
Very nice. I like to think that all mysteries will be explained, and we'll understand everything.
Thank you for posting this. :)
Woody Allen: "I don't mind dying, but I don't want to be there when it happens." Or something like that...
Heaven. Hell.
