Britney Spears to Guest Star on 'Will & Grace' Tuesday, January 31, 2006 NEW YORK Britney Spears will guest star on an episode of "Will & Grace," NBC announced Tuesday. The pop star will appear as a Christian conservative sidekick to Sean Hayes' character, Jack, who hosts his own talk show, on the April 13 episode, the network said. Jack's fictional network, Out TV, is bought by a Christian TV network, leading to Spears contributing a cooking segment called "Cruci-fixin's." As a young girl, the 24-year-old Spears was a regular on "The Mickey Mouse Club." After becoming a pop singer, she starred in the critically panned 2002 film "Crossroads." Last September, Spears gave birth to her first child, son Sean Preston, with husband Kevin Federline. "Will & Grace," which also stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing and Megan Mullally, is in its eighth and final season. It airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. (EST).

AFA has already started a petition, e-mail and letter writing campaign similar to the one that sank "Book of Daniel".
Personally, I love irreverant humor, but to mock the crucifixion goes beyond the pale.
NBC just doesn't "get it".

Why doesn't NBC really show how irreverent they can be and have Britney in a burka, cooking on her show, "Mo Hammed Eggs". Now that is cutting edge entertainment! Insulting Christians is so "yesterday." It is high time the networks begin insulting the CAIR crowd to show us how brave they are.

Precisely what the muzlims are saying about the danish cartoons of mahomet. But hey, Christians have been mocked once too many by the media (coz its safe to do so) and the muzlims, eho deserve to be mocked for the horrific character flaws of their faith's founder, have gotten away way too lightly thus far....

you can bet i wont. the more important point here is that by hiding your head in the sand, this ideology progresses. now when some arab tv group airs the protocols of the elders of zion, we call it anti semitic, dont we? would you say, just dont watch it? same for christian mocking or even muslim mocking. perhaps you have never heard the saying, when good men do nothing, evil flourishes?
To: son of caesar
I agree we must be ever vigilant to stop evil from entering our house and spreading. But is this show going to be evil or just a bunch of ignorant liberals preaching to their choir?

That name should be taken out and shot, it is so God-awful (pun intended). What's worse is that it is funny in a plane-wreck sort of way. Is this the modern equivilent to Amos and Andy?

Hee hee! If NBC is paying any attention to the cartoon wars in Europe, they'll bank on the guarantee that american christians won't declare a "fatwa" on NBC brass.

"Cruci-Fixin's" first appeared on TV in the May 6, 2001 episode of the Simpsons entitled "I'm Goin' to Praiseland". In it the Rev. Lovejoy has a concession cart named "Cruci-Fixin's".
I wonder where all the moral indignation was then?

Christians are not being singled out here! If you haven't noticed they make fun of gays, (and they are a show about gays), every celeb that is out there, Jews, (which is also a religion). It is made to be a joke. So you can see that this is being blown way out of proportion because Christians are not the only ones they make fun of.

NBC, fresh from giving us the anti-Christian The Book of Daniel, has decided to hit back at the Christian community by presenting an episode of Will and Grace which mocks the crucifixion of Christ.
On the April 13 edition of NBC's Will and Grace, Britney Spears will appear as a Christian conservative sidekick to Sean Hayes' homosexual character, Jack, who hosts his own talk show.
Jack's fictional network, Out TV, is bought by a Christian TV network, leading to Spears contributing a cooking segment called "Cruci-fixin's." To further denigrate Christianity, NBC chose to air it the night before Good Friday.
Click Here to read the Associated Press article.
NBC does not treat Jews, Muslims or other religions with such disrespect. Yet the network demonstrates a deep of hostility toward followers of Christ.
TAKE ACTION
- Call your local NBC affiliate and ask them not to air the April 13 episode of Will and Grace. Ask others to call. Click here to find your local NBC station.
- Click here to send a letter to NBC Chairman Bob Wright. Ask your pastor to run a notice in your church bulletins and newsletters and request members to go to www.afa.net and send the email to NBC Chairman Wright.
- Click here to print out a petition(pdf) asking your local NBC affiliate not to air the April 13 episode and distribute it to your Sunday School class and fellow church members.
Next, and this is very important, please forward this to your friends and family today!
If you feel our efforts are worthy, would you consider making a small donation to help us in this effort. Click here to make your donation.
Thanks for caring enough to get involved.
Sincerely,
