What did the show say?
It just highlighted the iconographic traditions of the East and spent some time on the typical depictions of these three..such as a larger forehead symbolizing wisdom, how they are garbed etc.
It also highlighted there importance within Byzantine Christianity in general.
It was a program on Byzantine Catholics....it seemed to be written from the perspective of explaining it to Westerners unfamiliar with the traditions.
I saw a chunk of it talking about Icons.
It was called "Catholic Compass: Byzantine Catholic Expression" I checked, it's on again Tuesday at 2pm and Fri at 3am (you can check it out on streaming video from their website)...I didn't see the whole thing but I don't think there was anything in it that might rub folks the wrong way....
