As a deacon from another part of the country who knows Bishop Vasa, I can state unequivocably that he is one of the best bishops in the country - totally faithful to the magisterium - no holes barred type of guy. I would be proud to serve him if her were my bishop. I was hoping though that the Papal Nuncio would hive him the Archdiocese of Washington DC when McCarrick finally gets relieved. This way he would be sure to make cardinal. He's a canon lawyer and quite smart and personable as well. A man's man.
